Jon Cypher :: The Tribute or The Measure of a Man

It’s sometimes difficult to figure out what the certain equation is that makes an actor or actress a “star.” Sometimes it’s the ability for that person to shine above the rest in a performance that just jumps out and holds one throughout many films. Other times it’s just a concocted thing. The sum of a payola of sorts that makes that actor/actress hot just because money has passed under a table. Other times it has to do with a sustainability throughout his/her career. Jon Cypher is one such actor. Throughout a career that spanned five decades I’ve been constantly amazed at how much he brings to his performances. He never phones it in, rather, he’s present all the time and ready despite some of the lesser quality works he’s been in.
